Payment limits on Viber Pay - Philippines
Depending on your identity verification level, there’s a limit to how much money you can hold, send, and receive on Viber Pay.
You can start using your wallet with minimal verification and a low limit for up to 12 months; however, you must complete the full identity verification process to keep using Viber Pay and increase your balance limit to ₱100,000, your monthly incoming and outgoing limit to ₱100,000, and withdraw money outside of Viber Pay.

Your limits will update every time you use Viber Pay:
- Open Rakuten Viber on your phone
- Tap on Viber Pay
- Tap on your profile picture
Limit definitions
Balance limit: How much money you have and how much your wallet can hold.
- Without identity verification: Your wallet can hold up to ₱50,000.
- With identity verification: Your wallet can hold up to ₱100,000.
Monthly incoming limit: How much money you added and received from the monthly limit.
- Before the identity verification process: Your limit is ₱10,000 per month.
- After the identity verification process: Your limit is ₱100,000 per month.
Monthly outgoing limit: How much of your monthly limit you’ve spent.
- Before the identity verification process: Your limit is ₱10,000 per month.
- After the identity verification process: Your limit is ₱100,000 per month.
Annual incoming limit: How much money you added and received out of your limit per year.
- Without the identity verification process: Your limit is ₱100,000 per year.
Once each limit is reached, you won’t be able to make more Viber Pay transactions in that category. For example, if your monthly outgoing limit is ₱10,000/₱10,000, you won’t be able to send more money until the following month.
Increase limits
If you haven’t completed the identification verification process, you won’t be able to make any more transactions once you reach your incoming or outgoing limit of ₱10,000. To continue using Viber Pay, complete a more in-depth verification process and increase your balance limit to ₱100,000, your monthly incoming and outgoing limit to ₱100,000, and withdraw money outside of Viber Pay.
To increase your limits, tap the Increase limit button below the limits display on your profile and complete the full identity verification process. You should see your new limits a few minutes after verifying your identity.
Unable to withdraw/use the full wallet amount
Bank transactions can take several days to confirm. Therefore, even though you received a payment from a contact via a bank transfer and can see it in your wallet, it may still take several days before you can use the money.
You’ll be able to use your full wallet amount once the transaction’s status goes from Pending to Received in your Recent activity list.
