Create a GIF on Viber
GIFs are a fun way to send short videos to your friends and a step towards creating viral content.
You can create an entirely new video or turn an existing video into a GIF.
GIF fast facts
- You can only create a GIF using your phone
- GIFs have no sound
- GIFs are a minimum of 1 second and a maximum of 6 seconds
- Make your GIFs extra fun and special using Viber’s editing tools
- The quality of the GIF will be lower than if you were to send a video
- This also means that the size of the file will be lower
- If you want to create a GIF without sending it to anyone straight away, either create it in your Notes or save it
