Make voice and video calls from your desktop

Call your friends, family, and colleagues for free from your desktop using Rakuten Viber!

Want to call more than one person at the same time? Start a group call.

1. Open Rakuten Viber on your desktop
2. Click on Compose
3. Hover your mouse cursor over the contact you want to call
4. Click on either the Audio or Video call button

OR

1. Open Rakuten Viber on your desktop
2. In the Chats menu, select the person you want to call or find them by their name in the Search bar
3. Click on either the Audio or Video call button (top corner)

If your camera is on, you will see a video of yourself during the call. Although you can't hide self-view, you can change the screen size by clicking and dragging the corners.

To reposition the screen, click on and drag your video to another place.

You can choose between sharing your entire screen, or just a specific application.

To share your screen:

1. Click on Share screen on the control panel
2. Click on Entire screen or Specific application
3. If you clicked on Specific application, choose the application you want from the list
4. Click on Share

To stop sharing, click the now green Share screen button.

To add another person(s) to your call:

1. Click on the person(s) in your contact list you want to add to the call
2. Drag the person(s) into the call screen and release
3. Repeat with up to 18 people if desired (20 people in total)

OR

1. Click on Participants in the control panel (the information bar will open on the right and your contact list will be displayed)
2. Click Add and select up to 38 more people to join your call (40 people in total)
3. Finish by clicking Add to call

You can transfer the call to another device such as a phone, tablet, or desktop, that has Rakuten Viber installed:

1. Click on Menu in the control panel
2. Select Transfer call

Your other devices will start ringing; once you pick up the call your current desktop call will hang up.

The control panel will be available throughout the call at the bottom of your screen.
