The best Viber Out product for you depends on how much you intend to call and whether you need to call several countries or just one. If you regularly call abroad, an Unlimited Country Plan or a Minutes Country Plan will usually work out cheaper than pay-as-you-go options.

Viber Out rates are available in either US Dollars (USD) or Euros (EUR). The currency that you see depends on the region that your phone number is from. For example, if you are using an Italian (+39) phone number on Rakuten Viber but you live in the United States, you will see the rates in EUR. It isn’t possible to switch between currencies.

The cost of a Viber Out call depends on the type of phone number (e.g. mobile, landline, special number, etc.) and the country you call.

The duration of a call is calculated per minute and not a fraction of a minute. For example, if your phone call was 9 minutes and 36 seconds (09:36), you will be charged for 10 minutes.

Your location does not affect the cost of the call. For example, someone in Spain calling a Russian phone number, and someone in Russia calling a Russian phone number, will be charged the same amount.

If you call using a plan, the cost will be the same for both landline and mobile phone numbers.
