Customize accessibility settings
Overview
Viber can be tailored to your needs on every platform with a few simple steps.
iOS
You can access your phone’s accessibility features by tapping on the Settings app and then Accessibility.
To make Viber fit your accessibility needs, please adjust these most commonly used features offered by iOS:
- Adjust the text size (and / or make it bold)
- Enable screen zoom
- Switch between light and dark mode
- Enable VoiceOver - Apple’s screen-reader feature

Android
To access your phone’s accessibility features, open your Settings menu and tap on Accessibility.
To make Viber fit your accessibility needs, please adjust these most commonly used features offered by Android:
Vision:
- TalkBack - enable to have items on the screen spoken out
- Display size - increase or decrease size to make things on the screen easier to read
Hearing:
- Mono audio
- Audio balance
Physical
- Touch and hold delay
- Auto-rotate screen

Desktop
Multiple accessibility features are available on MacOS - some through the system settings and some through the Viber desktop app.
To make Viber fit your accessibility needs, please adjust these most commonly used features offered by MacOS:
- Adjust the text size (and / or make it bold)
- Enable screen zoom
- Switch between light and dark mode
- Enable VoiceOver - Apple’s screen-reader feature
- Enable color filters
- Enable Voice control to control your Mac with your voice
In addition to the operating system's accessibility features, the Viber app offers the following:
- Interface scale - change this to increase the interface and text size
- Note that this feature is also affected by the system’s display scale
- Appearance - chose between light and dark mode

There are multiple accessibility options available on Windows. To access these features:
- Click on Start
- Type “Accessibility”
- Press Enter
The accessibility menu offers multiple vision, hearing, and mobility options. For more information about the specific accessibility options and how to turn them on / off, please refer to the official Microsoft documentation.
To make Viber fit your accessibility needs, please adjust these most commonly used features offered by Windows:
- Narrator - reads the screed aloud and lets you navigate and perform actions without a mouse
- Change contrast and / or themes to make text easier to read
- Adjust text size and color
- Use Magnifier to make a part of your screen bigger
In addition to the Windows accessibility settings, the Viber desktop application offers the following accessibility features:
- Interface scale - change this to increase the interface and text size. Note that this feature is also affected by the system’s display scale
- Appearance - chose between light and dark mode
