iOS Caller ID - Viber Plus
Always know who’s calling by seeing the name of the caller on your screen, even if they aren't saved in your contacts.
Caller ID for Viber Plus on iOS helps you identify unknown callers before you even answer the phone. Since Caller ID uses your phone's native system, you'll need to enable it through your iPhone settings after activating it in Viber.
Important
iOS Caller ID for Viber Plus is only available in select regions.
How do I turn Caller ID on?
To use Caller ID, you must be a Viber Plus subscriber. Here’s how to turn it on:
- Open Viber on your phone
- Tap on More
- Tap on Settings
- Tap on Viber Plus
- Tap on Caller ID
- Tap the toggle to enable Caller ID - אhis will take you to your phone's native settings screen for Caller ID
- Tap the toggle next to Viber to turn on Viber Caller ID

If you're not a Viber Plus subscriber, tapping on the Caller ID setting will open a new screen. Tap the Buy button to subscribe to Viber Plus and get access
If you no longer want to use Caller ID, you can turn it off by following the same steps.
Why am I redirected to my iPhone settings?
Viber’s Caller ID for iOS uses Apple's native infrastructure. For your security and privacy, Apple requires that all third-party Caller ID services be enabled directly in the iPhone's system settings. The toggle inside Viber simply acts as a shortcut to get you to the correct place.
How can I manage my Caller ID iPhone settings?
You can always check or adjust the setting in your phone's native settings:
- Go to your iPhone's Settings app
- Scroll down and tap on Phone
- Tap on Call Blocking & Identification
- Ensure the toggle next to Viber is turned ON to keep the Caller ID active
Why is Caller ID for iOS part of the Viber Plus subscription?
The iOS implementation of Caller ID works differently than the Android implementation and requires additional infrastructure costs.
